Sapporo Station is the main train station for Hokkaido’s capital city. It is a central travel hub for many travelers to Hokkaido, thanks to being 40-minutes by train from Hokkaido’s main airport at New Chitose. By 2031, the Hokkaido Shinkansen line will be extended from its current Hakodate terminus, making train travel from Tokyo possible (information as of March 2022).
The station has a range of amenities and is surrounded by a variety of shopping malls and department stores, providing limitless options for entertainment, shopping, and dining in the near vicinity.

Nama Paitan sendiri berasal dari Bahasa China. Sementara itu, Soba Paitan sendiri memiliki kaldu berwarna kecokelatan seperti kuah kecap. Kaldunya sendiri berasal dari kaldu ayam.
