”もみじの永観堂”その名の通り、境内の至るところは、色々な種類の楓や銀杏が虹色に輝いている。この寺院の正式名称は永観堂 禅林寺、その眺めは言葉に表せないくらい、いや言葉は不要であろう。もちろん、夕陽に近い頃がお勧めだ。風で揺れる楓の葉がいっせいに煌めく。錦秋の京都で必ず参拝しておきたい寺院の一つだ。昨年の１１月１９日に訪れているが、今回は放生池の近くの紅葉を紹介したい。
